Welcome

Palmetto Environmental’s mission is to work together to provide emergency response, environmental and regulatory consulting services to our clients, with the objective of developing long-term client relationships. Palmetto was founded in Denver, Colorado in 2003 and since that time has completed projects across the United States. Our staff is comprised of Geologists, Engineers, Hydrogeologists, Environmental Scientists and Technicians who have experience in environmental investigation, remediation, due diligence, underground and above ground storage tank compliance and inspection requirements, petroleum and chlorinated hydrocarbon assessment and remediation and site demolition activities.

We utilize a common sense approach to consulting, and focus on what is the most effective way to complete a project to meet or exceed our client’s expectations. Our staff of trained professionals are responsible, proactive and intelligent and are what separates Palmetto from other consulting companies.

Since our inception, Palmetto has worked closely with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), Division of Oil and Public Safety (OPS) to assess, remediate and attain closure of petroleum hydrocarbon leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites in Colorado. Due to Palmetto’s reputation and relationship with the CDLE, OPS, we have been a part of helping develop the new reasonable cost guidelines for LUST reimbursement as well as the methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) Guidance Document.
